Strange movie

Hubby is watching a movie called The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai ....movie from 1980's...has John Lithgow and Jeff Goldbloom in it.  Has to be one of the strangest movies I've ever seen, but he's totally fascinated lol.  Anyone have other strange movies they like to watch?

I think the strangest movie was Signs. I cannot believe I wasted my money on such a God-awful (and strange) movie. I am still trying to figure out what the director was trying to communicate to me.

I cannot top those two movies,  they are both strange.  Somebody must have enjoyed them, because they both earned a lot of money in the box office.

I never heard of the movie The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai. And I love the 80's. But I do love the movie Signs. Thought it was good.

Buckaroo Bonzai has  become a "cult classic," or so I hear.  One of my favorite movies is a bit on the strange side in that it isn't linear at all; it bounces back and forth from one time period to another.  It's Once Upon a Time in America, and was Sergio Leone's last film.  It can be a bit hard to follow, but I love it.

i have never heard of this movie either --what was it about?? is it strange as in we need to see it or strange dont waste your time ?

I make it a rule to never watch a movie more than once. I have tried to catch all of the movies nominated for the Golden Globes (that are being awarded tomorrow). Birdman was quite bizarre but after I researched the movie it made more sense. I enjoyed theory of being and Unbroken.  Tonight we are going to see the Gambler which I won't have to think to much about. We are trying to see a movie every week or every other week as a family in 2015.  We are also trying to do at least one dinner together, as a family, per week. It seems that we all get so busy that we lose touch with the most important things in life like family time. I rarely if ever watch television because it seems inundated with brainless reality shows.

Dogville or dogtown with Kidman was strange and terrifying.  Wish I'd never viewed it but I didn't stop watching...had to see it through to the end kind of thing.
