A lot of people today lack common sense. Honestly, sometimes I don't fully understand what's being told, so I can't really get pissed off. Sometimes I do though when I'm feeling impatient. LOL! But you can't really blame people if they don't fully understand what's being told to them.

Maybe I was not clear in my original post.  I could not go inside because I was stuck in the line.  Did you not read where I said they were lined up all the way around the building?  There was no way out of the line and no where to go.  Nothing to do but sit there.  She was stupid.  Had nothing to do with understanding the menu.  For example she wanted a burrito that comes with nacho cheese but instead of nacho cheese can I get shredded cheese.  Yes, but the shredded cheese is extra cost.  Well I don't want that.  People are just stupid.

People will behave the way they want, The art to live life is control your mind and senses, The only person you can control is yourself. Instead of getting angry and frustrated on that lady, you can just ask your mind and yourself to be in your control.
....Anyway just think....even after you got frustrated angry agitated(..all negative emotions you can list) ...did she changed or heard you?? It was you who created these thoughts and hurt yourself. Sorry for this long lecture but I had to say it. I heard this from someone and it really helped me to stay calm and in control to some extend. Well now I am at least aware when I get angry and out of control in adverse situation.

What you say is correct.  No, me being upset did not hurt her at all and it did not change her ignorance nor did it hurry her up.  All it did was make me angry.  And letting someone else have that kind of control over me is not something I want to happen in the future.  Thanks.  Seriously, this is something I have heard in some form before but not something I remember enough.

Times are tough for some people and they  just don't realize how inconsiderate they are.  Chances are they are taken advantage of in their lives, so don't know how to be more considerate.

I don't think people are rude because they are taken advantage of.  I had a customer this weekend who gave a whole new meaning to the title b*tch.  She demanded I give her a discount which I cannot do.  Then smarts off and says "well I will need to talk to a manager because "I" WILL get a discount.  I was like "yeah good luck with that.  Her son laughed and said "my mom get get pretty mean".  And I am thinking I would not pride myself on being known for getting what I want by being a b*tch.  I walked away and somebody else delt with her.  No one has taken advantage of her.  She thinks she is special and if she stomps her feet and gets loud then they will give her what she wants just to shut her up.

People are inconsiderate because they get away with it.  Watch kids today.  They are never told no.  They get whatever they want and when they want it.  They are not punished and have no discipline.  And then as soon as they turn 18 if they don't want to work they go sign up for a government check and the cycle continues.  They believe the world revolves around them and cannot handle it when they meet somebody who refuses to treat them like they are the queen.

How can you not understand a menu at taco bell?  How can you not understand if you add something extra to your taco you will pay an extra amount of money for each item you add?

Your comment reminds me of another situation I had this weekend.  I had forgotten til now.  I had a hispanic woman asking some stupid question and I answered her the same every time she asked.  Well the best I could anyway.  She finally got mad and left saying "I don't think she understands me".  Well, NO, I do not.  I don't speak spanish and you don't care enough to learn English. lol  And yes, if I went to Mexico I would learn Spanish.

I have to agree with countrygirl.  Years ago I waitressed part time.  We were in the Entertainment Book, this is a coupon book for special priced or discounted meals.  Anyway, ours stated buy one, get one free, EXCEPT house specials.  A husband and wife came in and put the coupon on the table.  I told them they could order anything BUT house specials.  I left them and got their drinks.  When I came back they were ready to order, the wife ordered a house special.  I told her again, she could order that, but could not use the discount.  I came back a few minutes later and she did the same thing.  We repeated this a total of 4 times before she insisted to talk to the owner, who I was more than happy to get.  When she was told exactly what I had repeated a total of 6 times, she grabbed her purse, swore at the owner and stormed out.  Either she was stupid or trying to get something she was not entitled to.

At least the manager did not give in to her demands and make you look stupid for going by company policy.  I have had that happen and it makes me SO angry! lol

There are some real dandies out there today!  Rude and thoughless~entitlement issues!!! I know someone who says since it's their right to have the right-of-way walking over a car in parking lots...she just takes her time across the road.  If someone looks annoyed she goes even slower!!  HOW RUDE!!!!!!! I HATE that attitude! It's so ugly!

Society has definitely become more selfish and rude.  This makes me sad.  I ask the Lord to give me His grace and strength to love others.  I know that I need Him be able to love others well.

It's never gonna change. Think about it.....if every single person in the world was always nice and conciderate, the balance of the universe would be thrown off. Can't just have it all the same way all the time.  So just think of those inconciderate people as part of the Grand design.
