Crowdflower Question
« on: January 02, 2015, 01:23:01 pm »
How do you level up on crowdflower? I've completed over 80 tasks but have only completed 18 test questions. It seems all the good offers require level 2 or 3, how are we to level up without test questions? ???

Crowdflower has always confused and frustrated me.  It has been a long while since I have even made an attempt to earn from the site.  Hopefully someone can answer your question.  They do have a support system that I have used in the past and received credit for tasks completed but not credited.  I wish I knew more about the in's and out's of crowdflower but if it is as frustrating as it use to be, I won't bother.  Over time hopefully improvements are made and I can revisit the site with confidence of being able to earn.  Good luck!  Try the "support system" if you can't find the answers you are looking for.

I don't visit the Crowdflower task very often. I find it to complicating and confusing. Maybe someone can post some tips for us newbies  ;)

After being first in tasks one month and second place the next, crowdflower knocked me down from level 3 to level 1. This month a level 3 task appeared and I was able to do it. Who knows?   ???

I gave up on that long ago. I felt it took up to much of my time.

I did over 110 tasks in crowdflower. The task was to match the audio to the text. I haven't leveled up, which is really annoying.

But what was your accuracy? Quality matters as much as quantity with CF tasks.

You have to also do a variety of tasks. Completeling 110 similar tasks  wouldn't qualify you to level up

I haven't used it in awhile, I got frustrated when I worked on things and then was told it was wrong.

my accuracy was around, 96%-98%, i'm sorry i don't quite understand, if the amount of surveys i do don't allow me to level up, then what does?

You have to do a variety of tasks with a higher accuracy.  It doesn't really show that you're capable of doing higher level tasks if you only complete the same task over and over.

It is confusing because it says that it's a .50 task and they pay you a penny!

I keep going back and checking out new tasks, in hopes of finding ones I like and can actually understand.  There have been several in the past that I really loved.  One of them involved reading the text on old record albums.  That was so much fun! nikicollazo1, hang in there!

0.5 cents is half a cent not 50 cents. Note the decimal point
