That is awesome and I hope you and all yours will have a blessed and happy holiday all together.  I know that my sons and I will make a lot of good food to eat over Christmas Eve and Christmas day but I don't think again this year we will decorate or exchange gifts.  It will be a good time either way.   :present:

christmas is commercial. people should love each other all year and help out the unfortunate ones. christmas is for those with money to buy things.

I used to look forward to Christmas for being surrounded by the ones I love but that all changed years ago after a divorce.  My kids visit there Grandparents during there time off from school.  My guy visits his Mom with his brother and I stay home.  This year we have a puppy so I won't be entirely alone.

No, I am not completely ready for Christmas just yet. I have finished shopping for gifts for everyone, but I still need to wrap them. I will finish shopping for Christmas dinner tomorrow, hopefully.

I'm done shopping, just have some decorating left to do. I have been blessed with my first grandchild this year so this is an extra special Christmas for me.

I'm about as ready for it as I can be. All the gifts are bought ( I think) :-). Anyway my boys made the Christmas ornaments this year so the tree is nicely decorated. I have the advent calendar up and the boys are getting very excited counting down the days. I still have Christmas cards to send, but at the rate I'm going it might be the new year when everyone gets their card. Ha!

I don't celebrate anything during the holidays so yes, I am ready.

My daughter leaves on Friday to visit her dad for the week, and I have stockpiled on frozen dinners for the week. :D
