Would you care if someone bought you a Christmas present from the Dollar store?

I don't expect anyone to buy me a gift from anywhere.  If someone gives me something from the Dollar store.....

I would acknowledge the fact that....

it's the thought that counts.
Have a great day!

No, it wouldn't matter. It's the thought that counts.

I think my granny does this with me, hahah. I don't care, she picks out cute things and I don't think too much of Christmas anyway so it's not any kind of big deal. :)

Actually we do that every year with co-workers.  Gift must be purchased at a dollar store, but we have a maximum spending limit of $2.00.

As for me, really doesn't matter. Not expecting to receive any type of gift. With a 12 year old and a 5  year old - that is my gift on Christmas Morning - seeing smiles on their face opening gifts from Santa. ;-)

I think this is a marvelous idea for co-workers.  It would take the stress off of people's budget because they know they don't have to spend a great deal....they can concentrate on sharing good will with their co-workers.

A $2 limit could be difficult OR it could make for some creative shopping!

I would appreciate any gift given to me. It would not matter if it came from the Dollar Store.

Also, some things in a Dollar Store cost more than one dollar.

To me, a present's a present.
I don't think it matters where it was bought. :)
