Growing up too fast?

Do you think kids are "growing up too fast" these days?

way too fast..none of them enjoy the outside because of all the technology...technology is a good thing,but kids are not allowed to be kids anymore...they are aging faster and its so sad..

Kid have no time to be kids, all the media hep and electronics, push them to grow up way to fast.

Way too fast.  Kids are doing things and knowing things way before they should.  It's sad that they can't be kids longer, but feel they have to grow up fast.

Yes, way to fast.  They are exposed to more "worldly" things now than we were when we were young.  They have the whole world at their access through the internet.  Kids now days don't have the chance to be young and innocent.

Oh yeah I think so. Things are a lot different now in terms of entertainment but some it is probably kids wanting to grow up. I was kind of like that. Wanted to do some things before I was ready.

Yes I agree. They grow way so fast. I could barely see my son crawling and now he can't hold still always go go. He is only 21 months and he can idintify all the letters in the alphabet😉

I don't think kids can do anything but grow up fast, there is so much more information available to them on TV and the internet. And they are learning things a lot faster than we did when we were growing up.

No, they are not growing up at all.  That's the problem.  They are not being taught consequences, how to take care of themselves, etc.  Everything is handed to them and they don't know the value of anything, even life itself.  They are being sexualized far too early, but I wouldn't call that growing up.

I think today kids r too sheltered to even experience anything resembling growing up fast. To me going up fast is not due to technology advances. Growing up fast is kids having to take the role of a parent due to circumstances.

Definitely! Especially with the vastness of the internet at their fingertips.

No.  Not really.  From what I am seeing lately kids, teens, and young adults are more babish and immature than ever.
