It is completaly legal for teens to drink alcohol if their parents allow them on their own property. it isn't a law that is being passed, it is already in action. Anybody can do it legally.

Touchy subject. If a teen wants to drink, they're gonna drink. Whether they have an adult purchase it for them, steal it, or whatever. It's a bad thing to get into. but most of us teens/ young adults like to party for the most part. Yes it's a bad idea to drink period, but it's quite common in todays society.

Teens should not be allowed to drink because it is damaging to their system and also it can kill one of them. Most teens are irresponsible with school grades, so why should we let teens drink?

I don't think that teens should drink.  They dont have the knowledge of the responsiblity that comes with that.  For a matter of opinion I don't think most adults should drink.

i do not feel that teens should be able to drink even if their parents are around or give permission.  i understand the whole religion thing. i am catholic and we have wine with the host. ( i do not drink at all so i do not even take the wine at church). i feel that it is a bad habit to get into. it only leads to health issues as you progress in your drinking habits not to mention that it causes aging and wrinkles as you grow older. on a more personal note, drinking  has affected my family tremendously. my uncle had to undergo a liver transplant because of drinking and he wasn't even aware of the affects that the alcohol had on him. it is an addiction just like smoking and drugs. i do not even think that there is a real distinction between "social" drinking and "getting drunk". i think they are both trails that lead to a hard road. just as cigarettes were glamorized in the 40's/50s'/60's without knowing the health effects, i believe alcohol is being glamorized just the same. every sporting event has alcohol attached to it. every tv commercial you see shows a good time to be had by all if you drink or you can get the girl of your dreams by drinking. it is extremely present on college campuses across the country. is it a pre-requisite to be a drunk when you hit college? where are the ads that show the ill affects of alcohol? i feel that if you start early and tell you children not to drink and smoke that it will instill in them a sense of self and individualism. my mother always told me that drinking was bad and that you shouldn't do it. as i went through life and saw what it did to the people around me i began to realize what she meant.

Absolutely not, 100 percent no is my answer to that question. NO they should not be aloud to drink. Parents are supposed to be good role models if they break the law, that only tells the kid it is okay to break all types of laws, no excuses that they are drinking in front of you, you can see what they are doing, they will do this a few times, till they go out and don't want you involved anymore, and drink with their friends, and it esculates, how would these parents like to get that phone call at 1 am, that their son or daughter was killed in a dwi accident, either themself driving or one of the many friends they started drinking with because the parent said it was okay. Gosh, some people have no right being parents.
Did you even read what anyone else has said at all? Or did you just throw in your "I am right and that is the end of it" ... :bs:

teens need to learn that with age comes maturity and responsibility. I had to learn the hard way but I still learned that alcohol is no good.!

I personally do not think teens should drink.  Even if they had their parents permission, but that is my opinion...
