I have lost 24 pounds since may all i have been doing is working out when i can and watching the amount of calories i take in daily its a slow loss but its working.

I lost 35 pounds and have kept it off on Weight Watchers.

I am a true believer that burning calories is the most effective weight loss program. I was in an Ultra Marathon and at mile fifty I had lost over twenty pounds (in eight hours). I used to do the Mayo Clinic diet which always helped me to shed twenty pounds, in two weeks, prior to a marathon. I don't advise doing these things because it was nothing more than water weight and the eating approach was un balanced.  A more rational, and longer lasting method, is to work out with weights three days a week/do cardio vascular three days a week for twelve weeks. You will lose weight, tone your body and the result will last longer. Eating a balance of protein and carbohydrates the size of your palm six times a day goes along with an exercise program such as this.

I track calories and exercise minutes each day.  But this time of year its difficult to lose.  I still keep trying.

I just do home workouts few times a day you don't actually need a program, just do what you can and before you know it your losing weight just try to get motivation to get yourself started.
