I find it hard to believe that Bill Cosby would ever rape a woman.  He seems to be one of the most honest sensible person in entertainment.

There are a lot of rumor around and you don't know which one is true anymore.  I hope that is not true because I like him. :)

Seems there are a lot of really old allegations popping up.  Something seems fishy about it all but nothing would surprise me these days.

How is it fair to ruin a person's reputation and their life?  Just because someone says something happened or you done something does not mean it is true.  These women are after money and nothing more.  Some of these allegations happened over 40 years ago.  If you don't say anything for 40 years even if it were true it's too late now.  They just want money.

The networks DID have a choice.  He has not been convicted of anything.  Just because somebody says something about you does not mean it is the truth.  Do you think it would be fair if YOU had some big business deal going and somebody told a lie about you and then your deal fell thru all because of a lie?

I'm sure hoping its not true and think it may be because he came out against some of the current administrations policies on imagration.  You know how they'll go after people who are against them.

Wow, this almost sounds like the Jerry Sandusky scandal except Cosby is accused of molesting young women instead of young boys.  Unfortunately, I believe the women who are accusing him.  Too many different accusers with the same story lines and scenarios are coming forward.  He was in the position to be a role model and mentor.  He has money and influence and with that most people think they are above everyone else, especially the law.  I had always liked Cosby.  I loved I Spy.  I don't plan on watching any of his shows again until this issue is settled and only if it is settled in his favor.  But, I don't think that will happen.
Have a wonderful day!

Well we shall all find out if the allegations are true or not. One day the truth will really surface and maybe he did and maybe he did not. I am not a big fan of his and in the back of mind I feel their may be some truth to this.

Still does not mean it is true.  I have heard enough from gossip online to be able to tell a similar story to the others.  My theory is IF there were any truth to it there is NO way that many women would keep silent for 30 to 40 years and then all of a sudden be like "oh we need to out this man".

This is a really tough one.  Because of his image I think a lot of people, including me, would like to think that his public persona was in line with his private one.  Unfortunately that is not always the case.  It is also tough because the whole "wow...why could those women wait 30 years?" doesn't make the allegations false either.  Even today, when we openly discuss rape on a site like this the number of reported rape cases is likely much, much less than 50% of the actual rapes that occur.  Imagine thirty years ago the stigma attached to reporting rape and the whole thing becomes very hard to deal with.  Maybe the women are just looking for money...I'm sure Cosby has enough to settle all these cases if he chose to...maybe they are just looking for their 15 minutes of fame, of maybe they really were raped.  Really unfortunate part is, unless Cosby did rape them and admits it, we will likely never know.

It is very difficult to issue an opinion on this topic considering that we are talking about Bill Cosby, a person with a clean-cut public persona. Then again, as someone put out, it would be naïve to assume that his outward/public personality is identical to his personality behind closed doors. For now, I am going to adopt the "innocent until proven guilty" philosophy.
