The thing that comes to mind to me is a box dinner like hambuger helper, chicken helper, or tuna helper.  You could also go to the store and get those ready to bake buffalo chicken strips or nuggets and make some quick french fries.  I also make pigs in a blanket whenever I want something in a hurry.  You just take crossaint dough and wrap it around hotdogs and bake at 350 for about 10-15 minutes and serve with your favorite side dishes. :notworthy:

Try some barbecue beef kabobs, maybe a fifteen minute prep, and takes about fifteen to cook.

1 ½ pound sirloin steak, cut into 1 ½ inch cubes
Zucchini cut into small cubes
Peppers cut into small cubes
Onions cut into small cubes
Sun-dried tomatoes cut into small cubes
1 bottle of barbecue sauce

Arrange meat and vegetables alternately on skewers.
Place kabobs on grill over medium-high coals.
Grill ten to fifteen minutes, or until cooked through, turning once and brushing frequently with barbecue sauce.

My hubby is a Schwan's man so that is usually our quick meals (their pastas, corn dogs, chicken strips, egg rolls...)  But tonight I'm making french dip sandwiches.  I just take some deli roast beef (whatever is cheapest) and warm it in a pot with either beef consomme or french onion soup, a little water and a little italian seasoning.  I toast the buns and melt a little provelone cheese on it and top with the meat.... oh so yummy!!  I prefer it with the beef consomme... it's a litter "beefier" tasting, but tonight I'm using the french onion since that's what's on hand!!!  I love to cook!!!!!   ;D

This is a pasta recipe of mine that's pretty easy to throw together.

Ingredients:

-Pasta that cooks quickly. Suggestions: Egg vermicelli, egg fettucini or gnocchi. I like gnocchi as it cooks in no time (literally 5 mins or less).
-small amount of fetta cheese
-3 eggs
-olives
-smoked salmon
-olive oil

Method:

1. Boil the pasta. If the pasta comes in coils, you can separate them in half to make it cook faster.

2. While it is boiling, heat up a saucepan with a bit of cooking oil. Crack the eggs, put in saucepan, whisk for a bit until they start solidifying. (I like to do that instead of beating the eggs beforehand because I prefer a more imperfect mix of egg white and yolk. It looks more interesting too.) Don’t overcook them, they should be almost done when they stop looking runny.

3. When the pasta is done stir in a dash of olive oil, stir in a small amount of fetta cheese, then toss in the cooked eggs, and then add the smoked salmon. Sprinkle on some olives.
