I live in Colorado. It is VERY dry here. Just have to use a lot of lotion, hand cream. Especially during the winter months.

No one mentioned drinking lots of water and keeping humidifiers going during this cold weather. That can cure a multitude of ills, including dry skin.

That was going to be my suggestion. Lots of fluids and moisturize!

When I was a teen I was brought to a dermatologist.  I'd been struggling with eczema since I was an infant and it turned out my Mom was treating my skin the wrong way.  I was being washed with Dial soap and than lathered with Keri lotion. The culprit was an oil from sheep wool called lanolin.  Dr. gave me a cream that smelled like tar.  After applying that stinky stuff for a few weeks whenever I had a flare up I'd apply otc cortizone.  I've controlled it myself with no problems since than... I'm now going on 40.

I have that problem too, but Aveeno seems to help me better; I would suggest use some simple or buy a very small tube and try it first, because each person are better for a certain brand.  :rainbow:

Stay well hydrated and use moisturizers.  Try to use the lotions that are as natural as possible.  When the humidity drops, dry skin tends to be an issue.

I have diabetics and I get really dry skin too, my daughter bought me this cream it looks like clay and it smells like clay to, but just with a little bit it goes a long way and it helps with my dry skin. She gets it in a organic store and it's call African something. This cream will last me for years. It cost $10 but if you look at it you don't have to buy it again for years.
