I use coconut oil and that seems to help some. I have extremely dry skin on my feet and hands.

I use coconut oil too. Right after I shower. Without it, my skin is so dry it's scary.

I have dry sensitive skin.  It's dryer in the Winter even though I drink lots of water and use a humidifier.  I use Lubriderm daily moisture lotion for Normal to Dry Skin (the Sensitive version) it's 100% fragrance, dye and lanolin free.  It works well for me.  :)

I use Aquaphor... However it is very waxy... It is suppose to protect against wind damage and lock in moisture

I just found a moisturizer called Merlot.  It is light and not greasy.  I use it under my makeup as well as at night.  I got it at Walgreens - not too expensive either.

I do have dry skin during winter time too. I just put lotion on it and most of the time I just don't pay much attention to it.

I have really dry skin on my hands but primarily because I do all my washing up by hand. It really dries out my hands. However, I found a really good cream from Aveeno Baby called Soothing Relief Moisture Cream which contains natural colloidal oatmeal (it has a dark blue lid). It is really soft on my hands and is not greasy and it makes my hands feel rejuvenated right up until I wash dishes again! Then we go through the whole process again! I would definitely recommend it.

My skin has been pretty dry and I use Lubriderm or a Vaseline based lotion.

I have a lot of trouble, out in the cold a lot and my hands get exposed to a lot of mud (which is red clay).  So I have tried everything and the best for really dry, itchy skin has been coconut oil.  I can see improvement vs it just staying the same (or some products I swear made things worse).

For normal dry skin I think Aveeno and Aquapor work quite well. But with psoriasis, I would say to have this go away long term you might need something prescription based. A steroid. Lotions don't seem to really do much. I wonder if petroleum jelly will work in this case.

I'm having a terrible problem with my left elbow this year.  It is so dry and rough, to the point of bleeding.  I have tried so many lotions and salves.  Some have stained my sweatshirts on that elbow.
Have a wonderful day!
