Have you tried doing a little bit throughout the year? If you pick things up throughout the year, it won't be such a pain. I get tired of seeing stuff about Christmas long before December has even shown up, same with Halloween. It's really not necessary to have Halloween stuff everywhere in July or August. Or Christmas stuff in September or October.

I don't mind at all.  I don't have to buy early if I don't want to.  I love looking at the decorations and getting ideas for what I am going to do when it is time to decorate at home.  It is also nice t be able to put things on hold so you can pick them up paid for later.    It is not so hard on the pocketbook to pay over a couple of months than one.

i went to walmart today and the store was packed thine long as hell it shouldn't be this early i swear every year it gets earlier and earlier for shopping for the holidays they take all the fun out of it

I would rather see people shop early as to wait until Christmas Eve.  Employes who work retail would like to be with their family not in a store waiting on a bunch of hateful people who are mad because the store is out of items they want, there are long lines, and on and on.

If I find something for Christmas gifts 2 months before Christmas I go ahead and get it.  Not sure why this upsets so many people.  I don't care how early people put up their decorations.  Does not effect me.

It's called supply and demand.  Meaning the stores get greedier by the year and start the Christmas ads as soon as July.  It's all commercialized now. Money, Money, Money.
