since I live by myself I dont shop at warehouse stores too much for one person plus I don't want to pay for a membership

I'm a single as well.  Most of the deals for products I would actually use would probably last me a year or two, and I probably wouldn't spend enough in the store to offset the membership fee.  Warehouse stores are just not economically practical for my situation.

I do see how they can be very advantageous for larger families that would consume the bulk items faster, where the membership fee is a drop in the bucket compared with the savings from buying in bulk throughout the year.

Yes, I shop at Costco and BJ's.  Got a very good deal on a camera before we went on vacation this year.

I had a Sam's membership for years when the kids were all home.  But, now that it is just the two of us, I never use it anymore!

I have a BJ's membership but I only use it for the gas.  There's only two of us in the house and we don't need bulk stuff.  I get cheese there every now and then because its cheaper but since I'm cutting out dairy I haven't gotten cheese in a while.

Yes - I shop at Costco. I usually end up buying more than I went in there for. The deals are pretty good across the board.

We have a Sam's membership and shop there quite often. As well as get our gas. We used to shop at Costco but they changed the one closest to our house to a business whatever so they cater to mostly businesses but regular customers are allowed as well but it just isn't as good anymore.

I am thinking about getting another Sam's card although we have to travel anywhere from 130 miles to 180 miles. Once in a while I don't mind having to go and visit friends and get my bulk items and some of the other items like food . I could load my freezer up and not have to go anywhere else for awhile. Otherwise we travel 80 mies anyway for groceries , our little store is very expensive. Have to do he doctors out of town anyway.

The rotisserie chicken in Sam Club or Costco is always cheap and delicious... Also getting items in bulk is cost efficient. Still using the 500ft Aluminium foil and plastic wrap for 2 years already

We shop at Costco and we about break even on our Executive membership.  Prices are usually better but there easy going return policy means that we pick it up at Costco and if we find it cheaper somewhere else we just return the Costco item.

Yes I like Costco. We don't have  Sam's Club where I live. But it is always better for my family to buy things in bulk then we don't have to shop very often except once a week.
