real is great but artificial you can use more than one year and don't have to keep watering.

It's almost that time of year, do you like real or artificial. I love the smell of a new real tree during the holidays.
I have gone to artificial trees.  I was trying to do the live tree and then planting them each year but I finally gave up on that idea when the first 2 trees got diseased and died.

I'm sticking with a real tree as long as I'm able to haul it back from whichever tree lot has nice trees at a reasonable price.  I have hardwood floors in my house so sweeping/vacuuming up the needles isn't that big of a deal.  In addition to the smell, I enjoy the different characters each year's tree has - from tall skinny ones to slightly shorter fuller ones - they each bring a different ambiance to the place.

This year will be a 4 ft artificial tree that came attached to a non-removable tree stand, is already pre-lit with LED lights and sadly, there will be no ornaments because I know what my cats will do to them....lol.   This way, they can knock the tree over & all I have to do is stand it back up....no mess, no problem.  :)

I have always gotten a real tree. It was always a great tradition to go with my family to pick out the perfect one and tie it on the car. some of my favorite childhood memories.

I like the fake tree better cuz u can get pine scent to make that x-mas atmosphere and u don't contribute to killing our declining pine tree forests  just for a couple of days of celebration!

We have a nice artificial tree.  I like real trees and have fond memories of going to the tree farm with our kids when they were  young.
