When do you start shopping for the holidays?

I have started already and almost finish, but still have some ways to go.

I start planning what I'm going to get people around this time of year. I don't actually start shopping until after Thanksgiving.

I usually start the weekend after thanksgiving....unless sometimes i find  something special that i can t  pass up

I have no children and since all of my nieces and nephews are grown and have children it really would cot a fortune to buy for all of And they are all into electronics  forget it. So I do a lot of baking and making candy. All though I will buy something for my great-great nephew. He will be a year old soon. Since he is old enough to be read to it will be story books. He has 3 grandmothers and 2 grandfathers plus the greats so I know he will be overloaded on toys. But I believe they should be read  too asap. I started very early on my boys.
