« on: October 17, 2014, 07:59:14 am »
i have cash out and they waiting till the 17th of this month to tell me i need to Verify my Identity. i never knew you needed a ssn to cash out on this site am very disappointed because i don't have a ssn and i just thought i can get some extra money online by doing surveys. after all this hard work they wait till 3 days till cash out day to tell me i need to verify my Identity. again unbelievable!! this is what i got.why fax and not email btw. such bullshit.

Dear Rufinus Henry,

In order to process your cashout, we require additional information from you as allowed by the Terms of Service, section IV.F.

You can validate your identity either online, or via fax.

To complete online verification, visit this secure page:
https://www.fusioncash.net/idverify.php

Otherwise, you'll need to fax us one or more of the following:

- Driver's License
- State-issued Identification
- Passport
- School Identification
- Official University correspondence, with letterhead

We are asking you because we detected unusual activity associated with your account. By providing identification, we can establish with more certainty that you are who you say you are.

You must use our fax cover sheet for all faxes. Our fax number is on the cover sheet. The cover sheet is in PDF format, so you'll need the free Adobe® Acrobat® Reader software to download and print it. You can download it from Adobe's website if you don't have it already:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Please click the following link to download and print the cover sheet:
http://www.fusioncash.net/telephone.php?mode=faxpdfgen [Login required]

The identification you provide must list a street or mailing address and the address must match the information on your FusionCash account.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please do not reply to this email, as it was sent from an unmonitored inbox.

Regards,
FusionCash

This site isn't a scam. I was just paid and have made around $1500

The site has to verify that each member is actually a different individual for tax purposes. Why don't you have a social security number?

The potential for an identification and/or form W-9 request is disclosed in the Terms of Service, which you were supposed to read before signing up.  You agreed to be bound by those terms.  Faxing is just one of the two possible methods, the other one is online verification which can be completed in a matter of minutes.

But, if you don't have an SSN then you are most likely not authorized to work in the US, which means you're not authorized to use FusionCash.  Those are the laws, we didn't write them!

If you have an ITIN then you should be able to legally participate in FusionCash.  I can understand not wanting to share the last four digits of your SSN, but in that case, we do require faxed identification.  According to the zip code on your account, you have several Fedex Office locations in a 5 mile radius of your residence, and could easily complete fax identification there for under $2-3.  You might also find fax service at some convenience stores, or maybe even at your bank.

I think this person is scamming. First the person states they don't have an ssn, then they state "only way of getting verify online is by giving you my last 4 digits of my ssn.

So which is it? The person either has an ssn or doesn't. Just trying to cause trouble? I think so.

If someone asks me if I have candy and do have candy, I'll always say yes and share. That's who I am.

There's no problem with giving the last 4 digits of a ssn because there are millions of combinations that it would be nearly impossible to steal it. No reason to lie about it and I'm not starting a war over this so will not answer another post of yours. Have a nice day. :)

There's no need to apologize.  If you can provide faxed identification which establishes your residence, and it matches the data on your FusionCash account, then your cashout should be reapproved without any issue.  The email you pasted in the first post of this thread has detailed info on what kind of ID is acceptable.  (An ITIN is likely not enough, since I don't think it has your address printed on it as well).
