:'(  The best christmas movie I ever saw, was.. "A Christmas Memory", by Truman Capote.. Geraldine Page plays Trumans Aunt.. It shows how the two outcasts form a bond of protection.. Based on his life story.. They make fruitcakes together, and give them as presents, and every year, they would make each other a kite,, and fly them together. As a matter of fact, the boy Dill in 'To kill a Mockingbird ' was based on him,, It was written by his best friend, Harper Lee.. And the lady he visited was based on the lady in a"A Christmas memory", and Jay Leno used to have her on his show, to make fruit cakes.

wow! i'll have to check that out. TKAM is my favorite
movie of all time, and i also love the book. when i learned
that dill was based on truman capote, i was enthralled!

i loved capote and catherine keener was of course
a perfect harper lee! maybe i'm biased though, as i do
love keener is everything she does...

i think i loved in cold blood even more, though.
i've always wanted to read the book, too.

i'm looking up a christmas memory right now  :D thanks!

alot of people forget that this is a X-mas movie, but my favorite one is "Die Hard"
So funny... my husband says the same thing!!  I love Christmas movies... all of them almost!!  My favorite is probably the newer version of Miracle on 34th Street or A Christmas Story!!

I loved Four Christmas's with Reese Witherspoon and Vince (is that right)? It came out last Christmas and was very funny, it'll probably be on DVD this year around Christmas time. You should check it out, it's very funny.

Nightmare before Christmas

But the question is: is it a Halloween or a Christmas movie?
