I love to make home made foods for my family and I enjoy the skill of cooking tasty food. However there are some foods that I just can't recreate and one of those is bread! I can make bread, pizza dough and other things however they are never quite as good as store bought items. So if the price of a nice loaf of bread is only $2, I tell myself it wouldn't have been cheaper to make it myself anyway. But I do love to cook spaghetti, lasagna, pot roast and jambalaya as well as muffins, cupcakes and treats! And I think I'm pretty good at it!
You can Google how to make bread or go to recipes.com. I make bread from scratch. There are also bread makers and you can purchase the prepackaged mix and whoola, fresh bread. There's nothing like that smell in your home.

My mom is a wonderful cook.  I always prefer homemade food over prepackaged food.  Homemade food is healthier as well, because you know what ingredients the food contains.

I use both.  If I am in a hurry, I use prepackaged food.  I prefer to do things home made because to me they taste better.

It is usually homemade at our house. But I do keep some prepackaged just in case I am not feeling great and I need something made in a hurry. Hubby is pretty easy to feed and on top of it he likes to grill, so that works out good for us . One or the other cooks enough for at lest 2-3 meals. Cook one kind of meat and then add and or change the veggies. I am so thankful that I have a husband who will cook some.

Homemade - it takes longer but it is worth it - I have eaten a lot of processed food in my life when I was raising a family and worked a lot but my sons and I try to make everything homemade now which tastes better and is certainly better for you.

I try to do homemade as much as I can but there are those night that dinner comes out of a box or freezer.

I am fortunate to have home made food available to me. Pre-packaged food these days is laden with chemicals and is Genetically Modified. The fresher is the better for everyone's well being. When someone gets sick, they try everything to get well. When someone is healthy, they sometimes take it for granted.

I do both but the majority of my foods are homemade as opposed to prepackaged.  I feel homemade foods are healthier for you and you can control what goes into the making of the dish, whereas with prepackaged foods you use whatever is in the package.  :)

I believe this is one of the answers to why so many people in america have health problems.  I certainly do the home made thing.
