I really didn't get involved with Soap Operas.  I think that they are a waste of time.  Most of us are living a Soap Opera so why would I watch someone else's on TV.  I like watching other things.

I heard the theory behind the publics loss of interest in Soap Opera, & consequently the taking off the air, was due to their main audience - the stay-at-homes - using their television watching time becoming addicted to the drama on facebook & their facebook games.   All the drama on mob wars & farmville...

I haven't watched soap operas since the late 80s when I would watch them between classes in college. I wouldn't even know which ones were on anymore.

I used to watch Days of Our Lives. After I went to 1st shift I stopped watching it. It is hard to catch up now and not as interesting to me, b/c it is more about the kids than the older characters now. I watch Tyler Perry's Have and the Have Nots.

I record Days of Our Lives and watch it at night. It's the only soap I will watch.

The only soap opera I ever really liked was Dark Shadows (guess that dates me).  I was enjoying the remake with Ben Cross as Barnabas Collins but it was cancelled after the first season.

I do, just because Ive watched them for 20-30 years now, but some days I am just so burned out on them, that I dont actually watch them, just listen to them, thats Days and General Hospital

Im especially burned out on days, now its more about all the younger group and they are annoying to me

There used to be three that I would watch. Another world and Days because my mom watched them. But I have been watching General Hospital since the early 80's when John Stamos and Rick Springfield were first on and continue to this day. Now my daughter is hooked on it and since she has graduated from High school we watch together and will often yell at the screen.
