Do you think when you're around someone, and they are in a certain mood, do you feel the same way?

yes !! negative people can bring you down faster than anything --thats why i try to stay away from people who are always that way--if you surround yourself with positive stuff -positive things start to happen !!

most definitely its an atmospheric mood so it can affect not just you but the people around that person thats in a group but like all emotions they can change quickly.

Yes, definitely. Not necessarily due to their mood, but how they push my buttons. Especially stupid people.

I think if you let the mood of others (especially if they are in a down mood) affect you, you must disconnect with that person at least for the moment.  I always try to be in a 'up" mood myself so that those around me will also catch the "happiness" even if they are not feeling it at first.

Absolutely. I am not normally in a great mood anyway, but my mood can swing either way depending on the mood of others in the office.

Yes, my mood is definitely affected by others around me especially if they are in a bad mood because you can't be yourself around them and they make things akwared.

I most definitely think the mood of those around you influences the "mood" of the whole area.

I try to be upbeat and happy every day.  My co-workers most definitely notice my happiness and comment on it especially when I come into work singing and cheeful.

Even smiling is infectious and can cause others to smile.

Negative moods or "blue"moods are noticed by others.  They either will avoid you or try to console you.

Yes.  Although not as much as it used to be.  My day would revolve around what my husbands mood was.  Since he died.  I am usually in a great mood.  Life is good.  I don't let people bring me down any more.  Not that they aren't important it's just that I can't not have control of my mood.

Of course, we're communal beings.  Our energy effects the energy of not only those around us, but the whole world.   :peace:  :peace:

Oh yeah. Every time my sister comes down from Alaska, I end up getting upset. She can do no wrong and is not above telling people things about me that are not true. such as I did all of the insurance when my dads house flooded. It was already in the bank and she came down and of course she had to come down and straighten It up, like I did not know what I was doing. I worked for a while in an insurance office and I dang sure do know. As always I try to keep my mouth shut. But I think I am going to have to say something because it is not right. She has done this for years.
