Nah, people are just hard to understand in general, and relationships are hard. The only reason that you hear "women are hard to understand" so much, is because heterosexual men are the ones whose voices get the most airtime. Everyone else has just as much trouble trying to understand their partner or partners.

Just try and understand the individual person you're dealing with, rather than seeing "women" or whatever other group they belong to as though it defines everything about them.

I think sometimes taking the advice from books and sometimes the advice from other people tend to create more problems than help. At least for myself sometimes, I should trust my instincts instead of taking other people's potential bias and interpretations fully to heart. I've seen sometimes more harm than good.

I agree with metagameface
It is not what we are but rather who we are as the saying gose. It dose at times sickens me to see such unequal & unreliable info of those that write those types of books & write compatibility tests (its all BS because a book nor a test can't tell you anything about any other person).

Exactly, but it made money for the author. Sometimes people overlook the REAL motivation for writing books, to make money (a lot of it).

I am trying to understand what "wemen" is and why proof reading and previewing isn't done before the post is submitted ::)  Something to think about :peace:

We are all faced with different challenges in life and I didn't find it hard at all to understand the meaning of the post. Something else to think about.

I tend to agree with the previous post. It's people, not just women, that are complex to understand. I think the stereotype that men are basic does them a disservice, and in a way, can sometimes inhibit them from expressing themselves. So ask questions, get to know someone, each person is different, and people grow and change too.

whoever heard understand andI didn't say all  women say they're all hard to understand. I said some women are and I just quoted  from a story in a book and a lot of men  and hard to understand as women I thought it would be a good way to start topic for discussion today yesterday.

I'm intrigued by the notion that the Book of Isaiah is easier to understand than women.  Of course, it could be that the writer knows more about theology than about people.  Or finds theology more interesting.  Or something.

I think women are easy to understand, it's men I find difficult to understand (with the exception of my dad!). Sometimes I question their order of priorities or their reactions to certain situations. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm a live and let live kind of person but sometimes I'm confused by a man's response to something. The other day I spent time mowing my front lawn, pruning some of the overgrown plants and generally making my garden look better than it was. I was proud with my work so called my husband over to check it out. His response was... why are some of the bushes looking somewhat unkempt? I sighed. Why can't he see what I did accomplish, and not what I didn't accomplish?

I'm glad you can understand the "meaning" of the post, the point is the "SPELLING" and people not proof reading and previewing their posts before they submit ::) So as I understand it you are fine with people misspelling words and using bad grammar as long as YOU get the meaning ???  A misspelling can be misleading like the person who asked people what their favorite desert was even though they meant dessert ???  Hey no one is perfect a people can leave out words or misspell but it just seems that they don't care to even check their work :bad:  Something new for YOU to think about since you obviously missed the point. Have a great day :peace:

I find the book of Isaiah hard for me to understand. There are a lot of women who I know and who are important in my life, I can say literally that I do understand them clearly. What makes them happy and unhappy. What they like to do etc. etc. Well, maybe not all of them.
