i did but i didn't finish because i had my children  and now i can't afford to go back but i am thinking about taking online classes i only need 4 more credits to graduate but i am not sure what i would want to major in my daughter says i should wait and go back when she goes into college but that's not for 2 more years

I did go to college because it was the path to do what I wanted to do. With only 4 more credits to go I would definitely go back and finish. If you're ready I wouldn't wait. You could even take a night course.

Yes I did, both under grad & graduate, while I have been retired for a few years now I think my education served me well at the time.

If you only need 4 more credits to graduate it would be worth it to save up and pay for that class out of pocket, that's exactly what I just did.  I needed to repeat one class to get my MBA and I finally did it.  It was worth the $2,300. Online classes were great for me and many jobs are computer based anyway.

I truly think education is valuable not only because of the job opportunities you open yourself up to, but also because education itself gives you a new perspective on life, which in itself allows you to elevate your being.  An education is an accomplishment that will live beyond your grave and set examples for others in your family for generations to come.  I'm currently waiting on my financial aid application status. If it goes through, I'll be able to continue pursuing my doctorate in education.  Wish me luck!

Yes, I did and I finish, met my husband got married had two kids they both when to college each met their spouses and now we shall wait on the grandkids.  Son in law when to graduate school.

I was but my mother stole my money that i saved for it and couldn't save for it from then on. (i can't go into the military because of my spine is curved so i saved up hard but i put it in my mothers account so i wouldn't touch it & when time came i asked for the $ back & when she said she spent the over 8 thousand within 6 mo. my jaw droped to the floor.)

I did and didn't realize at the time what a luxury it was.  It is so expensive now I don't think I could afford it.
