"can't put a book down"

I am reading fiction books written by Kim Vogel Sawyer. I get to the last third of the book and I can't put it down.
She has written a few series. When I read another author's books, I read the second book of a series instead of the first one. [sometimes, the books aren't clearly labeled on the front that they are part of a series] and read the first book afterwards. It repeated things I already knew.

I'm the same with Dean Koontz novels.  I read the entire book within a day or two at the most, usually staying up late into the night to finish them lol.  I've read everything that he's written, so I end up having to wait until he comes out with a new book each year.

What are some of the titles of the Kim Vogel Sawyer books you are reading? What genre are they? I am a member of a book club and we have read some really good books like The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert and The Shoemaker's Wife by Adriana Trigiani. I couldn't put either of these down.

I have had books that I had trouble putting down.  But none of them were fiction.  I tend to read about things that I have a strong desire to learn about.

the only time I read is when I pick up a magazine. whether tabloid or sports. I can never get into reading a regular book. not really any time

My sister "can't put a book down" once she starts reading it, no matter what type of book it is. She has to find out what happens at the end. Whenever I come across good books with short stories, I will pick it up for her so she can read a book that she CAN put down.
