Is anyone going to watch the series Gotham ?  Series debuts very soon

I'm going to check it out,but I hope it's not another Smallville,where they go though all the villains before the hero ever suits up.

I'm not a super hero fan, but Gotham definitely looks interesting!

I recorded it but haven't watched it yet.  Hoping it would be more on the gritty side.  Wondering if the focus of the series would be more on Gordon vs young Bruce.

Although I can't help laughing at the commentary made by Wil Wheaton on his SyFy show earlier this summer regarding the newly announced Gotham - something to the effect of - there's nothing we comic book fans love more than a show about a kid who is really, really sad.  (LOL)

I enjoyed it for the most part, but I think there are kinks that need to be worked out first.

I watched it.  I like it.  I grew up on Batman, it helped me get through a rough childhood. 

Bruce is played by the boy from "Touch".  Too bad that got cancelled.    Alfred is played by the son of John Pertwee, the second Dr Who.
