You should go to the doctor, you might need meds.

Depends on what is causing blood pressure problems.  Reduce stress.  Lower your salt intake.  Limit greasy fried foods.  Avoid red meats.

Mild, daily exercise...on a consistent basis.  Meds (make sure you take them if the MD prescribes; I know several people who stopped for several months and one had a stroke and the other was hospitalized); look up and follow a heart-healthy diet; decrease and manage your stress best as possible; watch your salt intake; if you are very overweight, you need to try to lose some pounds...it's all critical.  I have some medical background and I've seen the result of people not doing what is needed to try and manage blood pressure.  Aging will not help it out.  Oh, and if you smoke, you need to try hard to stop.

If you think about the consequences of not managing it, it may help put things in perspective.  Try hard and good luck to you.

Don't eat anything with salt to much and try to calm yourself down.

Go to a doctor don't take medical advice on a message board.

Stop eating so much salt on  or in your food.     I have to tell my spouse that everyday.

Absolutely check with your Dr. Heart issues are not to be trifled with. A healthy diet and exercise are good for anyone. Ask your Dr about exercising as you don't want to over do it but still need to do enough to be beneficial.

Make sure that your doctor is aware of this and gives you meds if they are needed. Another thing is eating healthy and exercising. I recently discovered coconut milk which lowers it as well. Be sure to stay in tune with your doctor and google to see if you can find helpful advice.

Do a search in Google for alternative medicine/therapies for high blood pressure (I'm assuming you're referring to high blood pressure.)

I have this article I've been saving for my mother (she has HBP) and it says to try aged garlic extract, black tea, cinnamon, hawthorn, magnesium, omega fatty 3 acids, resveratrol, vitamin c.

So maybe start Google-ing all those things and see what you come up with.
