my spouse and I Always Have This Fun Discussion About Something On Television. I Want to Know Your Opinion. At The end of certain shows, There Is A Dog. And The Dogs Owner Says Sit Ubu / bobo sit. I think its ubu, she thinks its bobo. what do you think?

It's UBU.  He says, "Sit, Ubu, sit."  The name of the Production company is "Ubu Productions."

I think it sounds like boo boo.  Hmph!  Ya learn something new every day.  I get a kick out of lyrics when I hear my 7 year old singing along and she's made up some random nonsense she thinks the song is saying.  Shoot I'm still finding out the words to songs.  My family just shakes there head when they hear me singing.

never seen the show so I can't say what it sounds like to me. however one poster mentioned that the production company is named Ubu, so it is logical that the word said is indeed 'ubu'...

so happy that I don't 'do tv' very much nowadays!

Yes, that's correct. The company has been around since 1982. The dog was a black lab named Ubu Roi. I don't know how it is now, but back in the 80's they would show the name of the production company when they would show the dog.
