I personally have not, but I have stopped smoking! My last cigarette was on Christmas Eve, 10 pm. I am so glad that I have stopped, but I hate that I have gained weight since then! I will start working on that soon!

I need to quit but I have so much stress in my life right now that it is just not possible. And I know I would gain more weight also.

I have been thinking about using one. It is so hard to quit when spouse is a chain smoker. It has helped a lot since the smoking was taken outside.  I am also under a lot of stress and have been for  years. I keep wondering when will be my time to be out from under so much.

To all yes stress is a factor and yes others bad smoking habit is a factor and so is weight gain but heres the key 'keep on quitting by determination' & it don't have to be junk food either it can be healthy foods. The weight can be lost & the stress can be lesson & hopefully others quit to by your actions but you are not replace-able and so is everyone around you. Let me be clear on sigs nicotine is a DRUG it will rot your teath & ruin your lungs to coughing fits and it will be hard to breath. My mother is a chain smoker but i quit & my sister smokes as well but i quit & i had smoking fits for 4 days but i quit & i detoxed for 2 weeks and i still quit. Determination is the key the rest is just an excuse on not quitting. :cat:

I currently use an electronic cigarette instead of the traditional tobacco cigarette.. It has worked well for me - been 2 1/2 years since I have smoked a real one.

The only way you are going to quit is if you really want to ... My stress level is still the same as it was .. I just had the determination to do it.

I haven't had a cigarette in 3 months, and I vape. My sister in law, brother, and mom all quit by switching to a vaporizor. I highly recommend it.
