I am more saddened by the fact that he possibly committed suicide.  It saddened me that he got to a place where he felt like there is no hope.  It is so important that we work on our relationship with family and friends.

This is so awful and heartbreaking. :( I still can't even begin to process this. He's going to be missed so much. It hurts my heart that even though he brought so much joy and laughter to many people, he couldn't be happy himself. So tragic. :(

When I saw this on another site, I was shocked to hear it. I cannot believe he is dead. He was one of my favorite actors. Wow, this is so sad.

You said exactly what I feel, beatsdrop.  My heart hurts thinking that Robin Williams, or anyone, can get to be so sad and hopeless.

Why would you not believe it?  I have heard a lot of people saying they thought it was a joke.  I don't get that?  Why would you think it was a joke? I received a text last night from a local news station.  Never entered my mind that it was a joke.  Anyway.

You never know what is going on inside of a person's mind.  People are mean and cruel.  I know that esp online in discussion boards (even on here lol) things can get heated and people tend to say things that they would not say in person.  I have read more than one comment and even had it said to me "go kill yourself" because someone does not agree with an opinion being stated.  We live in a tough world and things are getting worse every day and in this world they are not going to get any better.

Robin Williams died of apparent suicide.  He was sixty three years old.  This is such a tragedy.  He will be tremendously missed.
How will you remember Robin Williams?
He did such great stand-up! But his improve was his greatest talent. He said at one time that he learned from Jonathan Winters.  I think he was better.  He could never leave a talk show without having everyone cracking up from his impressions.  Robin will never be rerplaced by anyone better. Love him and will deeply miss his talent.

I was too saddened to hear of his death, esp. with the circumstances about it. He was one of my all-time favorite actors. Although he was originally just a comedian, many of his movies also had some heart-touching aspect to it. Several of the movies that I cried while watching (yes, I'm man enough to admit it) were the movies he was in -- Dead Poets Society was one of the first that I started bawling like a baby. "O Captain my captain" we will miss you very much!
