Well, this one is easy for me. I haven't been to the movies in a long time now. I don't even rent DVD's. I use Apple TV and I either rent or buy my movies right from iTunes. And then I also watch movies on Netflix.

DVDs.  That way I can watch the  movie several times for the same cost.
Have a wonderful day!

It has been a long long time since gone to the movies with all that is on cable and then DVDs.  I have a bunch on my dvr that I haven't watched.  It is hard for me to spend 2+ hours watching a movie need to pay attention to know what is going on so it is hard to do other things at the same time which is my preference!

I like to rewatch movies too.  I have a collection of movies that I've only seen once, but some are good enough to watch over and over again.

DVDs.  That way I can watch the  movie several times for the same cost.

I really enjoy both. I love going to the movies, since it's an outing. But, the movies are a bit expensive, so I only go if I'm too impatient and really want to see a movie. Otherwise, I'll wait and buy the DVD since it's less expensive and more convenient.

Going to the movies is so expensive now. Plus, sometimes I cannot hear whats going on in the movie when people are talking around me. Very frustrating. So I'd have to say DVD'S.  I have a 42" plasma HDTV & a blue ray player..so the movie quality is great! Plus I can pause if I wanna grab some popcorn, candy, soda pop, or make a bathroom trip. All without missing any of the movie!!

I haven't been to a movie in so long. My brother in laws loves to buy and rent new movies so we usually go to his house to watch them.

we go to the movie but it is so costly between the tickets and drinks the food i remember when it cost less then 5 dollars to go and have a good time  so we either rent the movies or buy them when they come out on dvd
I agree. I like to see the new releases, but the cost of seeing them when they are first released is too high. I go to Redbox. They are cheaper than a video store now. You do have to return them the next day. But with the availabllityof convienent locations, that is not too hard to do.

If money was not an issue, I'd prefer going to the theater instead of watching a DVD. The theater has more atmosphere, a larger screen, better sound, and now with the True 3D more 3D movies are coming out (I don't have any flat-screen TVs at home (unless you count the 17" that I use as a karaoke monitor) let alone a TV that lets you watch in 3D). However in the real world, money is an issue, so I usually rent DVDs thru a Red Box. But every once in awhile when there is a movie that I've been looking forward to watching, I'll splurge and go to a theater.

DVDs or Netflix.  Theaters just cost way too much nowadays.  You could easily spend $30 or more for 2.
