Prayers go out to you and I know you are heartbroken too lose your hair. But be very thankful you have a husband who is looking out for you. The hair will grow back.

I know how upsetting it can be to lose your hair.  I had cancer 10 years ago and lost all my hair.  I wore wigs all the time.  I thought I would die when it fell out, even though I knew it would grow back, and if course it does.  I do understand what you are going through, and shortly I will be going through it again.  I have cancer again and will have surgery next Friday followed by chemo.  We can go through this terrible time together and cheer each other up.

Don't worry, aggie49, your hair will grow back again once the chemo is done with.  It'll take some time but it will grow back.  I'll say a prayer for you that all goes well and that all will be done and over with once chemo is through.

**Ladies I heard Biotin supplements works well for your hair growth as well as your skin and nails. For your nausea drink ginger tea.**

aggie49 you are in my prayers. I had a friend who lost her hair after chemo. Her hair at first was brown and it came back reddish and wavy. It also felt like baby hair. I really hope you don't need surgery. Keep strong, girl!

You hair will grow back.  I know it is bad and I would hate it too.  But if the chemo can save your life then it is totally worth it.  You can't come back to life but like I said the hair will grow back.

I know a lady who recently went thru this.  She ended up just shaving her head.  I know you think people are judging you or laughing at you (and some may but they are stupid) but honestly most people are not.

You could always wear some cool hats or the (I cannot think of what they are called - but they are good sized square and come in cool colors and designs).  Had a friend who done that.

And just remember your hair does not make you who you are.  It is what is inside that counts.  You friends and family want you there whether you have hair or not.  :)

My prayers going your way  :angel11:

May God be your personal doctor and may his angels be with you and your family to give you hope every day.

Just see it as you will try a new fashion. Make changes to your hair, different styles so its not that noticeable. As you go along wear a wig every now and then to get used to it. Remember this is just a fashion and later when your hair starts growing again you will go back to your own hair.

Just remember one thing - GOD loves you and he will never leave you  :in-love: Have faith !

aggie49, I am so very sorry that you have to go through that process. Hair is a woman's crowning glory.  :angel11:

I hope you can adapt to wearing wigs or hats during the process, or just be boldly bald. If you have close family ties, you'll be supported during this trying time.

Don't forget to take care of yourself. I'm glad you are young enough to have the strength to get through this. And besides, you are woman. You are strong.  :female:

After all is said and done you can comfort someone else going through what you're going through now.  :highfive:

Your body needs all the strength it can draw in for you to fight the cancer.   So as you lose  your hair think of it as your body fighting the cancer.  Then as your hair comes back, it is like a new beginning of life for you!  A new Spring.  Will be praying for you both.

My daughter-in-law TRIED Depo-Provera.  She only had one shot and suffered for many months after that with spotting, break-through bleeding, and other horrible symptoms.  There are a lot of horror stories you can read about Depo over the internet.  Ladies, if you're of child-bearing years, stay far away from Depo-Provera!
