Do you like 3D movie or regular?

I love watching 3D movie although not very often because its expensive. But its very entertaining.

I like regular movies over 3D movies in theaters. I don't ever really feel like i am watching it in a way that i can just fall into the movie because the 3D effects are that great yet.

I like regular movies. 3D is more of a gimmick to me. They use it to make up for the lack of plot.

I prefer regular movies, 3D for me is only good for animation movies.

For me it depends on the type of movie... Action movies are usually best for 3D whereas other genres tend to be better just as a regular movie. I do agree with hawkeye that the 3D movies tend to use it more as a gimmick (along with CGI and other special effects) in place of a good plot. But I think as the "Real 3D" (3D that uses polarized light instead of red/blue colors) gets used in more movies, the movies revert back to creating the movie based on the plot vs. on the special effects. Like when CGI first came out when there were many movies that were CGI heavy but light on plot, I think we're seeing 3D movies that are light on plot, but as the technology gets older, it will have more appropriate use of those special effects.

I like regular movies. The glasses are annoying to me and I don't think the quality or experience is worth the extra expense. Then again, I only go to the cheap movie theater near me ($2.50 a showing).

sometimes, but sometimes it gives me headaches. I prefer normal movies.

I wear glasses that I can't really see without so those 3D glasses don't really work out for me. Besides regular movies are expensive enough without paying that extra $3

I like regular cuz it's must cheaper than seeing it in 3D. And I dont have to worry about wearing the glasses.

I have mixed feelings about 3D. Some of the effects are stunning, but in some cases I prefer just to see the regular look. It depends on the movie, really; the Hobbit was pretty spectacular in 3D, but in some scenes, it looked too fake.

I've never seen a 3D movie in my life because...

1. I'm not that interested (and feel I won't be missing out on much, if I never see one).
2. It's EXPENSIVE.

I LOVE the 3D movies!   If they are IMAX 3D, that is even better.  The animated shows "for children" are especially awesome because the graphics are so detailed, & usually the stories are so good.
