Are you a Walker?
« on: July 18, 2014, 10:03:16 pm »
Do you like walking in the mornings or late afternoon? When is the best time for you to do your walking and why?

I like walking in the mornings. The sun is not too hot and I get busy late afternoon.

Yes,  Like it around twilight time or a  very light rain or a light wind..to be out in the gentle elements not the wild ones

Being handicapped I can't walk but I do prefer being out when the stars are shinning bright. Specially when we go to the beach.

since I live in the Southwest, the best times of day to "walk", run or jog are either very early morning - before the sun comes up or later in the evening when the sun goes down.  At least at those times you won't be fried by the sun and won't get heat stroke either.

I walk when ever I get the chance.  Yesterday and Saturday I walked for 20 minutes during my lunch break.  I walked this morning because it was convenient.  I will try to walk again later today maybe.  I am trying to come up with an exercise routine I can do in the house.  But I try to keep up with intake and calories burned with my fitness pal so I want to know how many calories I burn which is the hold up with the indoor exercise routine. lol  That an motivation.  I tend to walk more than if I am doing exercise in the house.

I don't walk as much as I used to due to MS. I can still walk, but I have to be careful when and where I'm walking. I prefer to walk when the weather is cooler.

I walk when I have a break and if I'm more by myself. I tend to surround myself with people who complain a lot and like convenience. As an example, I will take transportation more when I am on a self exploring vacation (especially in cities) than I do on my own.

Yes. I enjoy walking in the mornings before it gets too hot. Lately, I haven't been going outside and walking.

I have always been a walker. I love to take long walks in the woods and enjoy nature. I walk everyday usually with the dog along for company.
