I like a large handbag even if I don't fill it up with stuff. I would carry a purse even if it was empty.

I like carrying a small purse, not the big one. Small and light weight is easier to carry everywhere.

I carry a purse with only what I need. When I go out to a restaurant, I like to bring one.
I don't keep it too heavy though.
I have a friend who used to carry a heavy purse. She also kept hitting her leg and had a constant wound that, once it healed, came back again since she kept banging her leg.
The day came when she needed a walker and no longer has that problem; no need to carry a purse.

I don carry a purse unless I have to pay for something. I don't like carrying extra baggage I have enough on my hips lol.

In the past I always carried a lot of junk in my purse which weighed a ton.  This is stuff that I never used.  So I downsized my stuff and purses.

I carry a purse, but its not a big one, its about medium size. I have a tablet so it has to fit. I can't carry to much due to health.

How many women out there carry everything but the kitchen sink in their purse?

I am guilty of it everyday that i go to work. Since i am there for 8 hours, i take things that i need because i only get
a half hour lunch, so i do not want to use my time to run home for anything.

When i go anywhere else, i switch purses and leave all the extras at home. :D
I have found that carrying just what you really need is best. A big purse is too heavy tolug around. I like the light-weight purses. They are easier to handle and you don't carry around too much stuff.

I try to keep it light; but that does not always work out. I take out my quarters and keep them in the car, change adds weight by always taking out the quarters,I always have change when I need it and takes off some of the load.

I can't leave my house without my purse. My wallet, coupon wallet, keys, phone, etc.

Unfortunately, I too carry a lot of stuff to work but I take a small purse that I can fit into a tote and fill the tote with all the "extras" - at least I only carry one bag that way.

I was never much of a "purse" person.  When I got into rock climbing a while back, I found a mini-backpack type "purse" which was small and light enough to carry the essentials (water, camera, car keys).  I use that as my purse.  Small enough for the essentials (checkbook/money, phone, tissue, keys, small umbrella in the summer).  That's all I need.

I like stuff like that, anything type of bag with a lot of pockets, mini back pack and all. I have one of those big plastic tubs
Of purses and bags, lol.
