I had never heard of Payza.  I'm kind of glad, too, or I would probably have money out there in limbo land.
Have a wonderful day!

I am extremely glad I heard of them, I put tens of thousands of dollars through it that I could not have made otherwise. I will use them again in a heartbeat.

Thanx for the heads up about where our $$ is... I saw on a different PTC's news page that Payza was back in the US, so I logged into my account and also saw that my balance was now 0. Shortly after Payza was closed to the US, I thought I had read somewhere that you could still cashout, so I decided to give it a shot, but I never got the money (of course). But I thought that my last attempt to cashout had caused my account to show 0. Glad to hear that it was more the case of the DoJ taking my money. Although it was only about $38, again it's the principle. I wish I knew more about why the DoJ got involved and why they took the money without due process...

I Will Stick With Paypal. Once I Ordered Something For My Daughter And The Company Tried To Hack My Paypal Account. Luckily Paypal Locked My Account Up And I Had To Call Them To Verify My Account. Everything Is Great Now :peace:

I've been following the saga myself.  I have about $45 in limbo I've been trying to get back.  Coincidentally I went checking on the status on June 30 and found the announcement before the email was sent.  I received the same email Hitch0403 posted.  Good reminder for me to call, leave a message, and reserve my spot in the queue.

I'll check back to see how the call ahead of me went to make recovery faster.

I'm hoping that if our sums are small, the chances of us being suspect scammers will not be an issue and we can get our money back.  How soon will depend on government time tables so it could be another year... or two...

Like Hitch0403 said, it's the principle.

I had a Payza account and bought a debit card for $20 then I used all my cash there. After that never used it again. I also have a Paypal account, that is what I use now.

For those that didn't know, Payza used to be Alert Pay.

I had an Alert Pay account, but never had any money in it, and after they changed to Payza they didn't allow US accounts. Then I never heard any more about them.

I have never heard of Payza!  I would not be interested anyway since I have always been perfectly happy with my Paypal!

I am definitely interested but I think I had a little less than $20 and I have no idea how one would go about getting it from the US government.  I lost over $40 when the government shut down Liberty Reserve and I figure the government probably got millions from it as LR had so many customers.  The justice department has a really good racket going there - legalized stealing.
