Grocery rebate coupon apps

Hi,

I recently read about all these grocery coupon sites. I find it to be somewhat overwhelming for me. Although, I do very little of our grocery shopping. I found these Android and Smartphone shopping rebate coupon apps that give money back for the items you currently buy at most stores. They frequently switch the coupons. As an example you may get 75 cents off of milk you just bought at Walmart after you scan the receipt using the app. 2 of the apps do any stores and 1 does most major stores (in my area: Weis, Walmart, Shoprite, Dollar General, CVS, RiteAid). Sometimes they offer money back on the same food item. This means you get double rebate. You would need to install the apps and scan the receipt in each one. There are 3 I found:

If you do the grocery shopping it might be worth it. They pay out at $20 or something like that.

Thanks for the information. This sounds like it might be a worthwhile app.  I'm just amazed at the apps that are available.  I've been using Scantopia that scans bar codes. It's pretty fun, but I haven't made much money yet.  Scanning your receipt to get money back coupons sounds easy enough. I will check into it.

I tried Scantopia, but it should be named "SCAMtopia." I scanned and scanned barcodes, and didnt' get any money, only worthless points for entering sweepstakes, which I never win anyway.

they are a very good way to save money, and to earn money  we all have to buy grocerys so we might as well get them at a decent price..too bad they didn't have something for the high gas prices lol

another place is called receipt hog  you scan your receipt and send it in and you can earn points to giftcards and paypal.

You can get rebates using your computer instead...if you don't own a smartphone.  There are plenty of sites who will give you a "kick back" if you click through their site before you shop.
