Liquid Eye Liner
« on: June 18, 2014, 11:00:10 am »
I need a recommendation of a good waterproof eye liner. Going to a water park and I hate how I always have to loose my makeup. Which eye liner do you recommend and where can I get it?

This is a little extreme and I don't know that I would recommend it, but I have heard that you can have eye liner tattooed on.  Then you would never have to worry about it coming off under any circumstances.  Just be careful to do your research on its safety and rating from people who have had it done.

Maybelline makes a "liquid" eyeliner that claims to be "waterproof."  Here's a link:

If you are looking for a good cheap eyeliner LA Colors makes a liquid, and a semi-liquid pen, in thin and thick. They are all under $5 and lasts a long time. A more expensive one is they’re real; push-up liner by Benefit Cosmetics.

I don't wear makeup, but I was watching a program the other day about some of the cheap stores are selling knockoff and that the ingredients in the makeup is really bad for you. So be careful where you buy your makeup.

My cousin had tattoo eyeliner tattooed on.  It cost $800 at a very respectable place in a posh neighborhood.   Doesn't last forever, starts fading after a short period of time & then eventually vanished.

It would have been a great thing if it lasted.

I have never gotten on very well with liquid eye liner. It's not like a pencil eye liner which you can adjust if you get it wrong or you want to take off altogther if you want to change your look. With liquid eye liner, once it's on, it's on. There's no adjusting, no removing it easily. It's also very bold and solid. There's no 'natural' look with liquid eye liner. It's great if you are going out to a club where the lighting is dim and you want your eyes to pop. But for day time or work, it's just not a good fit.

I just started wearing the "liquid" eyeliner. again I used to have such a difficult time trying to apply it but now I love it. Only kind I buy. I buy the cheap NYC liquid liner. Only costs 2-3$ depending where you get it and it lasts all day!
