Question About Tasks
« on: June 08, 2014, 08:00:47 am »
I usually do not attempt Tasks because I never seem to get them right. This morning, I completed a Task but got one answer wrong. I got  other segments right. I did get paid, however.

Do you get paid for Tasks even if you do not answer correctly? I do not remember this happening in the past.  ???

As long as you have a high enough percentage right you'll still get paid. There are some tasks I never get every question right but I still get paid for doing 5 or 6 of them

If I am not mistaken, the tasks base whether or not you get paid on the percentage you get right.

I barely got paid from tasks, I guess I must do something un-correct there.

You have to have at least as high of a percentage that they are looking for to get paid.

You WILL get paid for doing any task, but once you are EXPELLED for low percent you will not be able to do that task again.  So if you try a task for 2 cents and you get too many wrong, you will at least get 2 cents, now how is that for my 2 cents :D 8)

If you do not answer the questions at a high enough percentage you will definitely not get paid and you may not be able to try and complete that same task again.

I have so much trouble with tasks getting them right and it takes me so long that I no longer even try.  Normally I'm not stupid but I seem to be stupid about tasks.

I try to locate tasks that are not based on an accuracy percentage (i.e., big-money surveys in the 10 - 50 cent range). However, on a 'dry day', I will attempt a Crowd Flower task where accuracy is important for crediting purposes. Every time I complete one page of tasks and press the 'Submit and Continue' button, I hold my breath hoping that I do not read the infamous 'You answered some questions that were not to our liking', etc. I do not even bother becoming argumentative with the incorrect answers (although some tasks are super-simple and are worth a lot). When I get those tasks incorrect, it is a definite buzz killer for me, LOL.

YOU WILL GET PAID for every task you do until you get EXPELLED.  OBVIOUSLY once you get EXPELLED you won't be able to do THAT task again, JUST SO YOU KNOW 8)

The thing about tasks is that some of them it depends or the percentage you get right as opposed to how many you get wrong. FC will let you know of your accuracy when doing tasks and if your accuracy fall below a certain point you will not receive credit for that task.

If the percentage is in the right range you will get paid if not you maybe locked out of those tasks for good if you score to low. Some are confusing you really have to read every single thing they ask you do to to the letter or it just wont happen. Take it slow til you get used to doing them

You don't get locked out the term is "EXPELLED" and many times they will do the same kind of task over again  with a different ID number.  Also FC doesn't control CROWDFLOWER so any problems should be asked to CROWDFLOWER. 8)

I've been expelled from  a few tasks due to my percentage being too low, but ususlly when that task comes along again in a few days I can again do them, so being expelled is not a life long sentence
