Speeding tickets can be very overwhelming? Have you ever been pulled over from it?

Oh yes, several times! Many years ago I was a salesman with a 5 state area to cover. The speed limit was reduced to 55 (Jimmy Carter) and it was dang near impossible to make my rounds without speeding. I was not alone in that situation by far.

Yes I have.  My daughter had to go to a college to take a test.  She had to be there at a certain time.  We were on the interstate and there was a back-up, so I got off and decided to take the back roads.  I came up on a same town and didn't reduce my speed in time and met a state patrolman.  I saw him turn around and knew he was coming for me.  I pulled over and waiting for him.  He was nice and when he found out where we were going and why, he only gave me a warning ticket.

Yes. It has been almost 15 years though. Radar traps are the pits.But it will teach you to slow down. Drive safe.

Oh yes I remember when the 55mph speed limit was enforced I was a little heavy on the petal back then.

Oh sure had to go to traffic school which was so boring.Now i think you can do that online.Haven't had one in years sems to not be that many cops where i live or they stay close to the high schools.

Yes, several times. However, the only time I actually got a ticket was about 4 yrs. ago and it was because I was going 15 mph over the limit in a school zone, and I'm the type of person who will own up to something, so I'll admit that I deserved it! But all the other times, I was let off with a warning, which I really appreciate, as I have total respect for law enforcement as my dad was a cop and I'm trying to get into the field as well.

twice since i started driving at 16 yrs,,,,,   and that was 40 years ago.   once on my may to work ( i was running late)  and once going 2 miles an hour over in a school zone ( it was summer and school was out )      oh well things  happen.  I really try and watch how fast i'm going.

I AM PROUD TO SAY IN THE 40 PLUS YEARS I HAVE BEEN DRIVING A CAR I NEVER GOT A SPEEDING TICKET!!

No , but I  have been a passenger and driver was pulled over, that's why I try and pay special attention especially when I am driving threw small towns the speed limit can be one thing and in a flash you're in another town and it changes, so it really is easy to be pulled over!

I have not been pulled over for speeding since I was 18, I did get a ticket for having a taillight out once.

It has been years since I was pulled over for speeding, the ticket was 85 and I know I was not speeding, I had just passed a officer with a car pulled over, it was 130 in the morning...he said I was doing 45 in a 35 zone, he then asked if I wanted to look at the radar, I said no, he then took my cards and ran them and came back and said he smelled alcohol and asked me to step out the car for a breath test, I was shaking by now, but I know I was not drinking anything at all....I had to do the test twice, by now there are two of them there and I was so scared...he then said well it must be your perfume I smell and he gave me a ticket and let me go....

I've never been pulled over for a speeding ticket, but then I tend to drive a little slowly anyway. You never save that much time speeding anyway, but I can see how it would be very easy for someone to just lose track and get pulled over for a ticket, especially since other drivers tend to speed a lot. And there is a natural inclination to want to keep up with the flow of traffic.
