Posting Limit for forum

While I understand the reasoning about the forum limit, I do have a question as to why I'm limited now.  I haven't had a limit on my postings for years now, until this month.  I have been a member for a long time now.  While I don't usually post much other than at the first of the months, its normally because that's the only time I really have free to post, so this will make getting my 30 in a lot harder.  Just curious why I was put back on the limited list?

I normally post 2-3 times a day, but sometimes its difficult to find threads where I can add more to the discussion. I focus on the Support and Fusion Cash sections and only occasionally respond in the Off-Topics section.  So I've never had a problem with the 9 posts/day limit.

When I scanned your posts, however, I noticed that a significant number were responses in the Off-Topic section and generally just a sentence or two.  While I would expect this to be sufficient if you spread them out over the month, they appear to be quick responses just to get your 30 posts in asap.

FC may be taking a closer look at those who post more that 9/day and you got caught in the net.

I don't know why you would have a limit at all,as long as you have been on the Forum.I thought the 9 per day limit was just for Newbies.Posting limits have never been an issue with me.I usually post 1 to 3 times per day.The most I have ever posted in a day was 5 times,and I have only done that once.

We recently added a number of members back on to the 9/day limit system, because we identified a habit of posting all thirty+ posts in a period of 24-48 hours or less, for multiple months.  It was only a very small percentage of members, overall. 

The reason for this change is that we hope to encourage participation on more days of the month, rather than the beginning and end.  When determining who would be once again subject to the 9 post/day limit, we only looked at the shortness of time in which you posted your 30+ over multiple months - not the quality of your posts.

I agree with the limits myself, so many are posting just for the sake of posting, not really contributing to any of the forums topics.

I understand that, but as I said in my post...I usually ONLY have time to post at the beginning of the month, as I have a lot going on in the middle and end of each month.  If you even look at the amount of my earnings, you'll notice that it has dropped off as well because of the lack of time.  I also tend to not post long winded posts because of the simple fact that I'm NOT a big talker and have always just said what I had to say and moved on.  Now that I know the reason behind it, I will try to keep up to get the 30, if it doesnt work out it just doesnt.  Won't complain since it's basically a free $3 anyway.  Have a great night.

I don't like that FC now put limits on forums...not just newbies any more. Anyway this is what FC said: "We now place this limit on users who generally do all their 30 posts in the same day, to cram for the bonus. We do not feel these post contribute to the forum since they are done in haste to simply get the bonus."

I understand the posting limit.  I think one of the reasons for the limit is to decrease the number of spammy and abusive posts.  However, I don't know why a limit has been imposed in your case.  You might want to address your concerns with a staff member.

The Admin explained and I'm ok with his answer.  Was just curious.  Like I replied, it's basically a free $3, I'm just having to sneak away from the boys I keep now and then to squeeze in a few replies.  That and I guess I'll have to start thinking of ways to make my answers longer instead of just answering from whats in my head with a couple sentences LOL

Since I have been with FC and posting on their forum, I have reached my daily number of posts once. From my understanding you can only post 9 or 10 times a day.

When the site is paying out of pocket for the bonus they can choose what members are able to do in order to earn the bonus

my post was limited in my first moths membership. Now, no limit.  but i usually catch 30 post in the first couple week, the rest i do just as usual.
