Probably grass, live in a condo so we do not have a big yard, but the common areas have grass.

Neither.  I live in NM and water is precious, but I hate gravel.  I do believe in xerascaping so I'd use indigenous plants.  There's many good ground cover plants that need little or no upkeep.

Depends on where you live.  If you live in a drought state, I'll choose gravel, If not in a drought state, It's grass.

I would never have all gravel in my yard.  I love to go outside and walk barefoot in the grass.  I know it is a hassle to have to cut, but I love the feel of soft grass.

We have grass in the front and back but i don't have to moe it my son does so he would prefer gravel or rocks. I like the look of grass, but yes living in Ca it will get very brown in not alot of time.Feel bad watering so will do very little.

Well I do complain about having to mow but I would not want my entire yard to be gravel.  Eventually they wear away and you will have mud.  Besides that do you want people parking all around your house because they think it is a parking lot?

We live in the drought right now. i just water my permanent flower-plants and my tree.  The grass is going to take a beating and I do see the change over to the decorative yard.

We have a couple neighbors who have gravel and they are the first I've seen that looks nice.  Two colors landscaped nicely.  I might choose like theirs.

I have grass in the front yard, gravel on the side for parking (which I need to replenish again) In the back yard I have a small garden and the rest is gravel again needs to have more on it. I think on the north side I am going to put in some cement.

Grass!  I live in PA and everyone has grass, the only gravel we see around here is in some driveways, but even most of them are blacktop.
