In my heyday, my hair was black.  I dye my hair dark brown, but other people noticed that my hair looked purple.  The last time I dyed my hair, I got a black rinse.  It is time for me to get another rinse because the gray hair is coming back with a vengeance.

I am an Asian so its dark black. I never color it so that it will not destroy the nutrients of the hair strand.

Depends on the mood I was in when I colored it.  My natural color is almost black, now it's a dirty blond.  It's been red, blond, many shades of brown, and once by mistake it turned a ugly orange, that was changed immediately!
