Moving: Where can I find boxes?

I am moving and can't seem to find boxes anywhere. It seems everyone is tearing them up now days. Any ideas?

Generally, you can find boxes at the supermarket.  Otherwise, I have no clue what to tell you other than the Post Office (you can order a set of 5 boxes [they are Priority Mail) for free there).  Good luck.

Yes, I agree with msmoneybags, supermarkets may have boxes available.  If you are anywhere near a big club store like BJ's or Sam's club, they too may have boxes.  Since they sell in bulk, they may have larger boxes if that is what you need.

You can get all the boxes you want at the supermarkets and some stores, but because they stock at night they get tore up and pitched or stacked. You just need to go and talk to the manager and arrange to pick them up early.

Do you have a Uhaul store in your area? They buy back any boxes you don't use.

Uhaul or any moving company do sell boxes but if you need free boxes maybe you can find some like Sam's club

Liquors stores usually have them. Grocery stores have them a lot. I have never had an issue getting boxes. If necessary, you can usually buy them for $1 a box or so.

You can try the pharmacy for boxes.

Grocery stores.  I belong to BJ's and they always put out boxes.  I assume Costco and Sams does the same.

walmart sells them...ask supermarkets to save some for you

When I move I ask one of the grocery stores if they have boxes and they give them to me, You just have to ask for them.

Most of the storage place have a sign out that they have boxes.

I'd also suggest hitting up pizza places - their stuff usually comes in nice sized boxes and there are probably plenty to pick up from there.
