Don't forget our military this Memorial Day.  That's what the holiday is for!

I always think of our Vet's. There is this website I joined that for each online purchase I do they donate to the Disabled Veterans of America. Also when I purchase from Amazon they donate also to Veterans. My father was a Vet of Air Force and my brother is a vet from Navy.  8) ;) 8)

I agree that we should be thinking of our military all the time. We fly the flag and usually visit graves for part of the day.

I think people need a reminder that this is a holiday to remember the sacrifices that our military men and women have made over the years. Too many people think it is just a 3 day weekend to grill out and celebrate the beginning of summer.

I no longer have a flag and I need to get another one so I can put it up.  I keep forgetting that I need one.

I can't forget the Veterans.  My late uncle was one, having served in the Army for 22 years.  I have a younger uncle who served as well.  They will be on my mind.

There are a lot of graduations in the month of May. It's a good time to acknowledge the holiday and celebrate the next steps for graduates from grammar school, high school and college.
I have an apartment so I post a flag on Facebook.
Memorial Day is sometimes the first opportunity to have or go to a picnic.
