It's very sad that most work places have someone who keeps everyone on edge and usually finds a following of others who blindly do what they say. I can't figure out what they gain except that they like everyone else to be as miserable as they are.

I think those ppl are in desperate need to get some attention and will do it any way they can .. I usually choose to ignore them as I will not give in to their childish needs

I honestly think it's every where you go! There always has to be that ONE trouble maker, in my case they come in groups and I have at least 2 or 4 at my job and only 12 people in my office. They are the biggest booty kissers and crap stirrers of the century! We were fine until they hired these women who constantly need attention! This is a great topic and I'm glad I have some where to go to vent about these idiots! lol ...A BIG thanks to you! :)

A lot of people thrive on drama and want to be in the middle of the action.  Stirring up trouble inserts them into the process and makes them feel important or gives them "insider" status.  To be fair, some are raised in the type of environment in which criticism and backbiting are rampant, so to them this constitutes normal behavior.  These people probably are suffering from low self-esteem and their perception is that denigrating others puts themselves on top.

Are definitely troublemakers who need the attention.

It is a shame but it is every where we go. Even rode rage is bad.

I think they need to mind their own business.

I think every work place has someone like that. You just have to ignore them.
