On average how many hours of sleep do you think you get? For me it is close to maybe 5 to 6 hours a day.During the day I tend to drag so I usually take a supplement to keep me up.I work in the evening and my energy kicks back up by then.

I usually get like five or six hours of sleep. Some days I feel very tired, but I am limiting caffeine. I am getting used to no coffee after 2pm.

I usually get about 6 hours. Would love to sleep longer sometimes but even when I don't have to get up, my body alarm clock wakes me up.

I would say on average about 6-7. Friday mornings are the worst for me. I get home late Thursdays and have to wake up super early every Friday for my 12 hr Friday shifts. I go all day on maybe 3-4 hours.

I go to bed between midnight and two am and get up between eight and nine am, so I should be getting 6-8 hrs of sleep a night.  However, I often have trouble falling asleep, and I always wake up every 1-1/2 or 2 hours throughout the night, so my sleep is very fragmented.  I've tried melatonin pills, but they don't really help.  Don't want to take sleeping pills.  Does anyone else have this happen to them?

Most of the time I am in bed over ten hours due to sleep apnea and chronic pain.  All that isn't productive sleep though due to pain and having to get up several times to go to the bathroom then have to get back to sleep.

There is different types of sleep.  The last stage of sleep is realm sleep which I never obtain.  This stage is after the dreaming stage of sleep, but without realm sleep you can't rest well at all if you wake up and remember everything.  Your brain needs that rest and I just can never obtain it.

4 to 5 hours for me, I am one of those folks that have never required much sleep, drove my mom crazy! I wish I could lounge in bed for many hours, but I just can't, unless I am in the throes of a bad cold or something.
