Instead of eating, try walking :) Not only does it clear your mind, it burns calories.  Don't even think about what you're doing, just go to a nice place to walk, set your music, and just do it.

How do you reduce stress?

I know there are productive ways to manage stress, but I don't use them. I, unfortunately, over eat to cope and would probably drink if I could afford to!

We think alike! Instead of focusing on the problem, I now focus on the solution.  And as with this stressful house hunting ordeal going on I recently decided to not stress it but instead just keep submitting offers and saving up and if all else fails just buy something paid in full in February and not have to worry about financing. And then sometimes I tend to worry on stuff that's not even worth it so now I feel like if it's not gonna impact my life just let it go.

I think about what it is that is stressing me out. You can either do something to fix what it is that is stressing you out or sometimes there is nothing that you can do about it and it is out of your power. In that case I just remind myself that I cannot fix it so I should not worry about it and that everything happens for a good reason. Then I usually do something that will relax me or help me get my mind off it like go out or watch a movie at home or with friends.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Online forums are great for venting :)

I go outside and walk or do physical labor. I used to talk it out with my mother, but she's gone now so I don't really have any one to vent with.

I agree! Not only are you temporarily forgetting your problems but you're burning calories.

I think dancing is one of the best stress relief in own opinion. In my experience it worked for me.

Completely agree! I try to find music motivational and relevant to my issue and I couldn't have said it best about exercise.

Actually I listen to music a lot to releive the stress.  Also exercise is the best medicine.

When I'm really stressed, I usually think of a happy moment of think of my child. This definitely helps and I take a walk.  Going to the gym is another option.

I'm preparing to go back to school in September and I'm already tired.  I have the outline to 4 books I haven't even started on and I've paused my online jewelry store in an attempt to not overwhelm myself.  I haven't even been working out.  I'm not stressed, just juggling a little too much so I have to move some things around on my agenda, that's all.

Lately I've been not working out too but I'm noticing myself spread so I may start back doing at least 30 minutes a day this week.  I think it'll be better once the kids go back to school because then I'll have some peace to focus on my tasks.  My kids are great but they still need constant attention. Now I know how my mom use to feel during summer vacation lol

Wow, that is the hardest question of day.  I always say get ride of anyone negative around you as much as possible.  Learn to walk away when you feel uneasy with nayone.

I have a creak beside my house and I have a small bench down there, sometimes I just sit there and watch the water and pray.

My goodness that sounds relaxing, you are truly blessed to have the earth element of water in such a peaceful and private state near your home.
