Living with family or by yourself we get older?

I don't have children to move in with but I'm not sure that I would do that if I did. I get along well with all my family but I like my independence and would not want to impose on their lives.

My son already lives with me,  I will down size the farm, so not so much to do.  Hope to stay here for a long time.

Well I hope that my kids will want to take care of me but I guess I have to wait (or so I hope) for many more years!

I don't know but for me I would like to live close with my family so that they can taking care of me when I'm getting older.
