True Friends
« on: April 18, 2014, 08:35:04 am »
How well do you know your "true friends"?

Sometimes it's hard for me to really call someone a True Friend. I find it very easy to say.. "thanks friend" It's even easier to call people friends when they come over alot.. or hang around alot.. maybe sometimes have lunch..When they count on you for their problems.. and tell you things they wouldn't tell others.. But what i don't get is why is it.. When you tend to need help the most..Your "true friends" have something better to do.. You don't seem important enough then do you? They got somewhere else to be.. Something else to do.. What's even funnier is when you are always there for them.. but when the shoe is on the other foot it's always an excuse.
I am to stubborn to ask for help when i need it.. To me that makes me feel like i am weak if i ask for help. I don't like the feeling of Having to  depending on other people..
I know it might be to much to ask for.. But..I feel. That when you don't have any transportation..And you call on a friend..and they always have an excuse everytime..
I feel like they just don't care...Kinda hurts..Stings you in the heart..Makes you feel like your not really valuable at all to them.
Sometimes i guess you Really don't know who your true friends are untill the time comes when you need something.. or your in trouble..
So how well do you know your true friends?
[Keep in Mind This is Only A Rant.. Yes it does have a Question Feel Free to voice your own opinion or theories.. You don't have to agree with mine.]

I have a lot of friends but only 3 real close true friends. My daughter-in-law, and 2 other women who are closer to me then my own family. And yes we have been through thick and thin, but know that we are there for each other.

I have many friends, but other than my immediate family I only have 2 "real" friends. We can tell each other anything, knowing we will never judge but will always be there for each other.  We have been friends for years, through marriages, births, and sadly divorce and deaths.

That's sometimes hard to judge.  I had what I thought was a true friend but after I changed jobs and wasn't around to do her beck and call, she didn't want to be friends any longer "because it wasn't the same".  Which is alright because I was already getting to the point of being tired of being used.
Have a wonderful day!

True friends are hard to find. A true friend will be by your side through thick and thin. Especially the thin. True friends will get you through any tragedy in life. Hold on to them!
