leg is bothering me bad today

woke up around     4 am my leg is hurting badly so i am going to lie on the couch put ice on it take a pain pill this is going to be brutal i am not used to sitting still but i don't have a chose now

Can you call your doctor?  I know you will get his answering service, but he should call you back.  I'm not sure if you should put heat or ice on it, he can al least tell you that.  Or you can try calling your local pharmacy, I'm sure the pharmist can help you.  Good luck.

Hope your leg starts feeling better - I sure hate to hear about people being in pain.  I deal with chronic pain every single day and it is definitely hard to deal with.  Feel better soon.

My legs have been bothering me every time it is cold or damp outside. I have to put the heat on or I can't walk. I am pretty sure it is arthritis I just don't know which kind. my blood circulation is also bad which also may be the problem. Many doctors have checked me but not one of them could tell me what it really is that is wrong with me. But heat helps.

Leg pain is awful. Maybe try taking potassium or magnesium.

      That is  part of the problem: Sitting down for too long. Take care of the pain first. Then, when the snow is gone, put your good shoes on and go for a walk. Walk and walk... to improve your circulation and leg mobility. Do your walking on a regular basis.
